The Search Section above is divided into 4 different sections, which can be indicidually selected for each search query: "Namibia" This selection searches the web.com.na's own Search Index. This Index consists only of true Namibian Internet Sites which reside on a domain name ending with ".na". No other Internet Sites are included into our Index, making it the first and only true Namibian Internet Search Engine. "Directory" This selection searches the web.com.na Web Directory. This directory only consists of manually added and verified Links to Namibian Internet Pages to ensure a high quality of listings throughout. This makes it the ideal starting point if you are looking for a particular Namibian Internet Presentation or Service. "Homepages" This selection searches the directory of all the free Homepages which were created by web.com.na's Members. Each Homepage can have individual Keywords and a Description to be easily found through this Search Engine. So if you are looking for a specific Member Homepage, this is the right place to do so. "Members" This selection enables you to search for User Profiles of web.com.na Members as shown in the Forums. You need to know the complete Username to be able to display a User's Profile. This feature is only available to registered web.com.na Members.

Search Parameters

The following Search Parameters can be used to search the web.com.na's Namibian Internet Search Index:

Plain Query:
Searches documents containing word.
For example to search for the word Namibia, simply type:

Word List:
Searches documents containing few words.
For example to find all documents containing both Namibia and Street type:

Phrase:
Searches for exact match of few words.....
For example to find all documents that contain the word Namibia followed by the word street type:

Filter by Site:
Allows to narrow search up to the site...
For example to find all documents containing the word Namibia only on web.com.na type:

Exclude pages containing specified words:
Allows to narrow search by excluding pages containing specified words or expressions. It is important to put a space before the "minus" sign and leave no space after it.For example to find all documents containing the word Namibia but not containing the word Provider type:

Search by Pattern:
Allows to search documents containing words, that match specified pattern. Character '?' means any character, character '*' means sequence of any characters. You should use at least 3 non-pattern characters in the beginning of a pattern. For example to find all documents containing words beginning with Provider type:

Logical OR:
Allows to search documents at least one of the specified words or expressions. For example to find all documents containing the word Provider or the word Providers type:

Complex Expressions:
Allows to search documents, which match specified complex expressions. Expressions can be composed using AND OR | boolean operators, subexpressions can be grouped using parenthesis. Subexpressions can be another boolean expression or just a word, a pattern or a phrase. Only OR or | operators and parenthesis can be used inside phrase. For example to find documents containing either the phrase "Namibia Street" or the word Namibiastreet on sites matching the pattern web.com.na, type:
