THE Police in the Ohangwena Region have arrested a 42-year-old woman at Onambweyuka village for allegedly setting seven cuca shops at the village on fire.
Police Liaison Officer Constable Abner Kaume Iitumba said the woman told the Police that she was frustrated by the cuca shops.
She said every time she went there, "the alcohol in the drinks messed with her brain in her head and made her do unusual things".The woman, Katrina Otto, appeared in the Oshakati Magistrate's Court in the North on Monday on a charge of arson.he case was postponed for further Police investigation.
The owners of the cuca shops are up in arms.They are demanding that Otto pay for the damage to their shops and merchandise.
Oh, me katrina, olye emutumu keekamba dovanhu, opo dimululile edixwikepo,lol.. On a seriouse note, I thing people should demonstrate to show support for the Brave Katrina, Otombo is just making the villagers lazy and miss managing their little finance, and most important, it goes in their heads like Meme Katrina, I support her fully.

Honorable fellow member of the house PrincessDally the story is real its in "The Namibian" newspaper of today.
Personally, I think Madam Otto deserve to be a Herorien in some aspect only that his act was a bit unjustifiable because she has a point to say alcohol destroy her mind and may be had spent much on it through out her life. Only that she could have tackled it different way for her to be recognized as heroroen in fighting against alcohol in the nation. for example after her discovering that enough is enough with alcohol effect, she could have contacted her friends whom she use to drink with and share her feeling. Then come up with something that will keep them away from going to the cuca and spent the same amount they use to spent in alcohol every day on that something and that something should be benefit-able to all of them and also compete with cucashops in a good faith that my attract some more community members and make them to abdon the alcohol.
Its sound funny real but also pit-full as one does not know how much Madam Otto has lost into alcohol and how far her brain had been affected and what bad deeds that she had committed because of it, and since when.

Mee Katrina lost everything including her mind at these 7 shebeens, than she said enough is enough, lets go and suport her, she might just recover at least her mind u know,lol..
You know why I likes her this much? becouse I have in my life( and I have lived 3 decades now bra,lol...) seen people do so manny things becouse of alcohol, terrible things including Murder, Rape, driving etc, but I have never seen some one who took action against it like Meme Katrina. Just sponsor me a Burner, becoz OByte and I are on our way to Oshakati, we will camp at the State Hospital untill she is Acquited at court,lol..

Hnr Sacramento sure u are right, coz i never seen something good from alcohol, Meme Katrina made a step which can be also sometimes be supported. U know what, after drinking and later find out the source of poison, she did not to do harm to anybody as other drinker do, she neither go to set the owner's houses fire, but the cuca-shop. And i think the lawyer for meme Katrina will not work hard here, so many reasons

As much as i am happy that she finally decided enough is enough, am kind of disappointed. Eembashu heyali odi hapu maan!
I think mee Katrina's act in a way ngoo should serve as a wake up call to the Namibian nation that seem to find find pleasure in taking alcohol and just lazing about. This is where the point comes of people demanding of oshikukuta.

Sacramento, your 100% right that is why I am saying Meme Katrina deserve a Heroism accord because even me have lived a bit longer but I think its a history, it has never happen that some one took action as that of her against the bad influence or effects of alcohol. Its only that she didn't think about economic survival of the others cuca owners) otherwise she deserve a support psychologically.
