In the namibian newspaper for 2day a member of the RDP party was attacked recently for wearing a T-shirt carrying the logo and name of that party.
I wonder what type of a world we are living. Why should people attack each other just for paties? myself wont mind if some1 is puting on a T-shirt of his/her party.

i think you have also read that the accused were arrested, mu advice is that, let the police do its mandate, and there after have the comment. article 12 of the Namibian constitution has made it clear that, any 1 is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.....so, lets not violate the rights of others and lebel pictures that are not suppose to be.....

Wrong conclusions...................It was only reported that the person was assulted by some people and it wasnt made clear if the people were Swapo supporters! Guys, We need to be analyzing things before we can say anything. Or do you have proof that they are Swapo supporters?
I know that it is human rights violation and no one is allowed to hurt one another just because of politics! I was at the north recently and someone showed me one guy (Swapo supporter) who was beaten up but people didnt conclude that he was beaten up by RDP supporters.
Lets live a normal life without being disturbed by political indifferences! We all know where we are standing and that is something that we need to keep to our selves! Politics is a dangerous game and one has to be careful!

I would like to say why people are likely to conclude that it was SWAPO supporters who assaulted this woman Firstly, the SWAPO top had been calling on its members not to be friendly toward RDP, secondly there is allegations (not denied) that a cabinet minister fired a short at his boy and finally there was no any effort by swapo to discourage this type of behaviors by its followers.
Do you still remember 1989?( for give me if you were still a babe) we were beaten on our way to and from our gatherings, beaten over our SWAPO colours, t-shirts and flags torn and we did not get water nor could we buy from the than wealth DTA supporters’ shops.
Now, do we see similarities in some of the tactics employed by SWAPO members today? I mean DTA had reasons to panic by than, SWAPO was coming and coming in Huge numbers, the movement was amazing the support was overwhelming( which is still today in my opinion), what is threatening SWAPO with regards to RDP I dont know( apart from the fact that RDP was a SWAPO making from the beginning) They tried to say it is a Kwanyama movement than RDP failed to impress at Eenhana. To me what is vital is the Constitution, it must be observed without immunity.
May be they see something I dont, In my language we have a say “ kakola kekulye” but peace is very essential to the land of the brave.

Thanks DAI people should not conclude it was Swapo because it was only reported that the RDP member was assulted but no 1 knows it was Swapo members who assulted her.
The issue is we should not attack each other for parties and that no 1 have the right to hurt others. All people have the right to join polical parties of their choice.
