I think that the coach now really has to prove his mantle after dropping some very formidable players from the team that went to Guinea yesterday. If Namibia lose that could well mean the end of the road for the team in the road to S.A for 2010/Angola. Not to be the soothsayer but i wouldnt put my money on them winning in Guinea.
Its back to square1 for the soccer fraternity, again!!!
I also feel that there are a lot of capable players that have been overlooked by the coach, meraai, tjikuzu, plaatjies and cloete (Orlando pirates)
What do u think mr Yours Truly??

As it stands, it certainly is the end of the road for the Brave Warriors.
The coach should not be blamed for dropping some of the country's best players mainly coz the likes of M Tjikuzu are not playing at thier clubs, while Platjiees maybe one of the best players for Namibia but suffers from disciplinary illness.
He ashamed the coach in Ghana.
I would agree with you on Meraai. Riaan Cloete is not yet ripe for internaitonal football. He would not have made it against Guinea's Bobo Balde that giant number 5 if you were watchng the game.
The coach should howver be blamed and accept the blame for fielding the wrong eleven.
He had all his best players in camp for three weeks but still failed to field a formidable starting eleven.
Watch this week's column for more. The players were played out of position.
Costa is more of a ball player but was played as a ball receiver until he started drawing deep to get the ball.
Jamu is a holding player but was played deep upfront.
And those substitutions were sick.He took long to remove Ivan Namaseb as the defender (who has been on a three injury injury) failed was already tired after the first twenty minutes.
What else? The coach should know that big players dont win the game. The battle is won in the dressing room.
