well, i went to school at Suiderlig High back then. I am looking to meet up with old friends and perhaps meet new ones. I am 5ft 7inches tall, colored, studying microbiology. i live in kronlein. k, that's all i got for now...holler!

yeah, micro's the best. microbes are really interesting. i am interested in finding cures, iow inventing new vaccines, etc. i know it might seem a little far-fetched but i am actually looking into this HIV-retroviral microbes. i believe something or more can be done in terms of finding a cure or at least a feasible vaccine, and so i am concrete in my believe that there's a cure somewhere...

Yeah it is far-fetched, i know u know this already, but let me remind u that the reason why it is difficult to find a cure for HIV is b-coz its all around your blood stream and whatever is in liquid form in your body, but the blood and organ fluids contains the highest concentration and other liquids in your body do not have such a high concentration thats why one cannot contract HIV through kissing. So i've been thinking, the only way to cure HIV can only be by removing all of the blood in your body and replace it with new uninfected blood, but that can only be if there is a way to keep you alive while your not having a single drop of blood in your body. I'm speaking under correction here. So its either that or a vaccine..........

i totally agree wit chu. and u know wot's interesting, the retroviral reproduction rate. it's sooo fast...and it has become sort of impossible to work the scientific way, u know, like trying to inhibit reproduction, by blocking certain enzymes and cutting off supply lines. i figure ur method would have to be executed in some sort of dialysis method. see this is where cloning and embryonic stem cell research can take us a bit further and of course help us, but so many people are against them and therefore, it's supposedly immoral, and unethical. cloning and embryonic stem cells (much better than adult stem cells) would be able to create plasma and blood cells identical to the individuals, and so when dialysis takes place, the old gets replaced with the new. inhibitors can be placed in the new plasma, making it entirelly impossible to let the virus in the body again!!!
