we all know that a student graduating at unam,deserves alot more in life and poly students act like the qualification we get are just piece of papers, u knw what i think its u guys stat showing some respect cause life at unam is not a walk in the park.i strongly emphasise . u all that the curriculum that we are doing at unam is on another level and we independent unlike u guys who spoon feeded like babies. so as saying goes u shud give respect where its due.

Please empasise more on your post...i fail to understand what you are trying to say!!! R u saying Poly graduates are not respected or what are you saying??? saying that respect should be given where it is due, Where is it actually due?? Speaking about spoon feeding, which students are being spoon feeded Poly or Unam? Elaborate!
(Sometimes) it doesn't matter where you graduate, its what you graduate in that matters!!!!

hi ruffkid
1st understand the different between University of science and technology(Polytechnic of Namibia) and University of Education and development(Unam).
2nd differentiate between spoon feeding and a walk in a park.
3rd come back to your argument and see if waht you are saying is making sense to both of the institution.
respect is true should be given to where ever it is dued but make sure of what you are writing,speaking and saying.
if spoon feeding is a case and curriculum is on the other level than i bet you would have come to Polytech for spoon feed unlike Unam where you have to work harder and haerder.
my question is,why is Unam renked 2nd to Polytech?
in terms of practical experience
sharp no offensive!

excuse me ruffkid,wt r u tryn 2 say actually?u know we all r graduates wether from unam or poly,the staff dont discriminate in the work place,,they jst pick the rite candidates...........please i suggest u consult your lecturer about respect cause u certainly dont knw the meaning of respect..what does respect got to do with what u guys do at unam..please,do wat u do and leave us[ploy students] alone......if u think we r spoonfeeded,why cant u jst cme at poly?

wang, u are giving wrong infos,unam ranked at 60 position in africa,we are you in globe. you guys and your managements need to improve.
Just imagine poly is ranked @27, whaao.congras to them.and respect must go where is due,
Unam must improve.i will advice my kids to go to poly, wake up.

Poly is not a University bra.....According to the Namibian Qualification Board!!!!!!
UNAM degrees now is up 2 standard that it is equal to a degree plus honors therefore UNAM students that want to study further in SA dnt nid to waste an xtra year.
UNAM is a book wise and practical wise in the sense that UNAM have programs such as internships for students to practicalise.
for those of you ploy students....U guys can never get a job in SA cz u guys jst have a polytechnic degree. Its a big issuse and i think the gov should upgrade poly.

who are good and who are not, which university is best which is not. Education depends on who is getting it. You might be at a top university but if your mind is not up to it you will leave as you came in!!!!!! Guys don't get discourage.
