In life people especially youth experience hardship that might be a problem or a challenge. However, I have discovered that the majority of us cannot tell the different between the two. Now, what are the problems and what are the challenges? Please give clear examples.

What I know is: Problem is a condition or a state of affairs almost beyond ones,s ability that is difficult to deal with and requires great effort to bear or overcome, but dont forget that there is alwayz a solution or an alternative to every problem. whatever how big that problem might be.
A challenge is something that can shake you at your very core but still you find comfortability in it.

Yes PrincessDally´s statement is correct. In a way it seems pretty much linked with the attitude of the person facing either of them - a problem or a challenge. Usually we call it a problem, if we are not aware of a solution yet. However, a challenge could also appear as a problem sometimes. Basically a problem is caused by an event coming up in someone´s life that forces somebody to change a type of a approach this person has been used to take for certain things in life. Let´s say you used to go to work by car... and suddenly the engine broke. That´s a problem. You have to figure out a new way of getting to work. Let´s say now you are a mechanic. Fixing an old car´s engine might appear as a challenge to you. Basically you already know how the final condition of the car should look like. The engine should be working again of course. The way how you fix the engine and whatever "problems" you are facing meanwhile is a challenge.
