oh Common! I don think there is a big diferenc if there is even. Both mean you are having sex. However, sum ppl say that the diferenc is wen ua havin sex with sum1 it does not necessarily mean ua in luv with them, ya simple havin loveless sex with sum1. Making love means that the 2ppl are in luv or possibly married. In my opinion sumtyms sex is so good that u cud feel like you are in love with that person when really you are not.

On the other hand, people say having SEX means not caring too much about the other persons pleasure and satisfaction just your own. (While they are doing the same). Having sex is a physical act with physical reactions but "making love" is beyond the territory of physical contact. Sexual interaction is something wonderful to enjoy but "making love" is something to experience. No words can describe lovemaking and no one can capture or package it. Making LOVE means wanting the other person to be just as, if not more pleasured than you. (While they are doing the same). Having sex can be filmed (movies), described (magazines), and sold (prostitutes), but making love is outside of everything and feelings to each other are involved. It transports you to another place when makin it but not havin it. Sex is temporary and quick but lovemaking is timeless and unending.Given a choice I believe most people crave lovemaking but settle for having sex. Haha! You wont understand that. Perhaps this Common is not a popular opinion but I believe it to be true. But fu*& it, what the heck...i think its the same, what am i even saying? maybe is just about feelings wan, For couples is Making LOVE and for Prostitutes is Having SEX!

My dear common, i have nothing to say.

Coz to me its the issue of English hewa. Its the grammar so with me i pick any word that am confortable with, e.g i had a girlfrnd who always asked me of whch day we are ****ing, she always used the word '****) but my current chick warned me never to use the word f**ck to her but rather sex or making love.

So its the issue of confortability to the person you are using the word to.

But in reality all are synonims and all words such as f**ck, sex, making love involves, romancing, puting the dick insyd, releasing etc. so its the same and i advice you to use any word that your chick prefers.

Sex is not the same as making love ma peeps, sex is part of making love because making love is a broad act tht encompasses sex and many others... People usually reffer or think tht it is th only way of making love, but hell no, jst th fact tht it can easily be carried out than many other practices of making love.

This topic is arleady in here posted by Niggz on 18 May 2008 under Relationship and it received about 28 replies. So people some times saerch under the forum in this site before you post something because you might find answer to your question/s, but I am not blaming you here "Common" because you might be new to the forum.

one of the interesting contribution to the topc that I found was by "Dai" and I quote "Dai wrote: "I have decided to help a bit where i can and i am always under collection. Making love and having sex are two different things but always go hand in hand. The difference is not whther you are doing it with the person you love or not but generally, there is a difference. Having sex in when partners are engaged in an intercourse (penetration) and making love can be combined by both kissing, higging, touching, cuddling plus the intercourse. Dont get me wrong here, one can make love without an intercourse just by doing all the above mentioned.

if someone say "i want to make love to you", it can be either he/she just want to feel you in a different way but sex is always attached to making love.

lets debate! I might be wrong but those are my views"

MAKING LOVE IS A STEERING WHEEL TO SEX. That's the greatness and sweetness of NATURE. Yakwetuko ESHITO............

Guys: Sex and making love are two different things, very different.

Sex: involves penetration, whether vaginal, oral or anal while Making love involves touching, cuddling, kissing, playing with each others parts, sucking and the last part, Penetration. You can make love without even involving penetration.

Simple as that!
